The club divides the year into a winter season and a summer club. The year is split this way as, due to holidays and other activities, the members tend to play less during the summer. All the league activity takes place during the winter season and the winter season is often referred to as the league season.
The winter season runs from September to the end of April and the summer club starts mid-May and runs until August.
The summer club is more relaxed and there are generally more guests whose own clubs do not play during the summer. As a consequence the guest rule in the constitution is suspended for the summer club as is the three club night rule. Club members can opt not to pay the full fee for the summer club but can pay just for the nights on which they attend.
